Why
stay in a vacation rental home instead of a hotel? In a vacation
rental, you can stay in a fully furnished home with multiple bedrooms
and bathrooms underneath one roof, rather spending money on multiple
hotel rooms. Many rentals are priced between 50 and 80 percent less per
square foot than the average hotel room in popular destinations. You can
stock the kitchen with all your favorite foods and have great family
meals without excess restaurant expenses, room service fees and
gratuities.
How do I make a reservation? Is it secure? Booking
a vacation rental with Valley Escapes is a convenient and secure
process. Guests can view photos and amenities of individual homes to
find a home to fit their specific needs prior to booking. Reservations
can be made 24 hours a day online at www.valleyescapes.com or by calling
one of our friendly vacation home rental reservationists at
877-686-4733. Our Normal business hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time.
Is there a minimum stay required? Yes, we
typically require a 2-night minimum stay, depending on the property.
During Christmas Holiday the minimum stay si 5 nights.
Do
I need to check in at the office? There is no need to come by
the office to check in, provided all monies for your stay have been
received. Once we have received your signed and completed rental
agreement (Registration Form), including your credit card information,
we will send the access codes required to access your home. These codes
will access the key box at your condo or home. Your confirmation will
include pre-arrival check-in information, including directions to/from
the airport and local highways, maps of the area, and detailed entry
instructions for the home.
Are pets allowed? Pets are not permitted on any of our properties. A pet of
any kind on the premises of a property is absolutely prohibited
and is grounds for immediate eviction of the entire party without
refunds.
What is the payment policy? Payments can be
made in the form of credit card, personal check, cashier’s check,
e-check, certified check, or money order. Please make checks payable to
Basinview Lodging. Personal checks cannot be accepted within thirty
days of the check-in date. An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental
rate is required within 10 days of receipt of confirmation of
reservation. The balance of rent is due thirty (30) days prior to the
check-in date. Reservations made less than 30 days prior to the
check-in date will require full payment via credit card, cashier’s
check, wire transfer, certified check or money order. If paying by check
and check is returned for NSF, there is a $50 service charge per
occurrence. Payments for foreign reservations must be made in U.S.funds
by credit card, money order, wire transfers, or cashier’s checks payable
on a U.S. bank.
Are there any other fees beside the nightly
rate? Yes, a cleaning fee, processing fee and hospitality tax (11.1%) will be added to each
stay. The cleaning fee is posted on the website and will be based on the
size of the home or condo you are staying in.
What time is
check in? The regular check in time is 4:00 pm, Mountain Time. Early check in may be arranged, depending upon availability, for a fee of $50.00.
What
time is check out, and what do I need to do to check out? The regular check out time is no later than 11:00 AM. Late check-outs
are available, depending upon availability, for a fee of $50.00. Late
check-outs are very rare in high season. and during Holidays. Please be report any damages or
breakages during your stay prior to your departure. Upon departure, lock up, return the house key to the lock box and
have a safe trip home. Please check you have packed
all your personal belongings as management cannot be
held responsible for any items left behind.
What is your
Cancellation Policy? (a) If the guest cancels their
reservation thirty (30) days or greater prior to the date of arrival, they will incur no penalty, and the 50% deposit will be fully
refunded. If cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to the date of arrival, the 50% deposit will
be forfeited. If cancellation occurs less than 14 days prior to the
date of arrival, 100% of the entire reservation amount will be forfeited. (b) If the guest changes the date of their
reservation thirty (30) days or greater prior to the date of arrival,
they will incur no penalty, and the should the change result in a lesser amount due, the difference will be fully
refunded. If the change of dates occurs less than 30 days prior to the date of
arrival, the 50% deposit will
be forfeited. If cancellation occurs less than 14 days prior to the
date of arrival, 100% of the entire reservation amount will be
forfeited. (c) All refundable amounts will
be refunded by check within fourteen (14) days of the cancellation

Do I need to bring my own linens and towels? All of our properties include high quality linens on ready made beds. Bath sets (which
include bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths) are also provided.
Is daily housekeeping service available? Should you require mid-stay or daily housekeeping service, it
is available for an additional fee. Please inquire upon making your reservation.
